Common questions
This is iOS, not the app. Deleted photos move to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for 30 days. Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted → Select → Delete All, and the space comes back. No app is allowed to do that step for you, which is exactly why Memory Tin says “up to X MB freed”.
Tap undo on the deck to take back the last swipe, or open the tin and pull the photo back out — a swipe never deletes anything on its own. If you have already emptied the tin, the photo is in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days.
Open Settings inside Memory Tin and tap Restore purchases. That asks the App Store directly. If it still does not unlock, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then write to us with the date of the purchase and we will sort it out.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: on your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Memory Tin. Refunds also go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tell us as well if something went wrong — we would rather fix the reason.
iOS may have granted access to a limited selection. Open Settings → Apps → Memory Tin → Photos and choose Full Access. Memory Tin needs to see the whole library to build chapters in date order, and it still never sends any of it anywhere.
There is no account and no server holding your data — deleting the app removes everything Memory Tin ever stored. If you have written to support, email us and we will delete that conversation too.
